We think beyond the boundaries. You want an 1/8th scale buggy with a .21 engine? Everybody’s got that. How about an 1/8th scale buggy with a 24.7 engine that puts out nearly 3 h.p.? WE got that! By the way, if it’s speed you want, fasten your seat belt! This thing hauls! The new X-Terminator RTR has tons of professional features that are normally found only on pro cars that you have to build. The X-Terminator is a no compromise, 1/8th scale racing buggy with the beast features of any other RTR in its class!
The X-Terminator comes fully built with a custom painted body already trimmed to fit the buggy. We not only put a header and tuned pipe in the box, they installed them on the engine already. You want more? We’ll give it to you! We included full ball bearings in the driveline, axles, and the steering! That’s right, ball bearing steering! Try to find that in another RTR! Furthermore, to prevent leaking, each of the three differentials has five o-rings sealing it. Forget those nylon spur gears, the X-Terminator has steel gearing all the way around, including the spur!
We also thought about the little things. That’s why we installed shock boots to protect the shock shafts, silicone universal joint covers to protect the front universal axles from picking up dust and dirt, and a silicone switch cover to protect a vital part of the electronics. Oh, we didn’t stop there! The receiver and battery boxes are both dust proof as well. We want to make sure the installed Hitec radio system with a high torque steering servo stays working the way it should. To keep more of the dust and dirt out, heavy-duty nylon side guards are installed on the fully countersunk 3mm chassis. We didn’t stop there. The aluminum radio tray posts, fuel tank posts, and wing posts keep the car sturdy and prevent those items from flexing. In addition, to prevent the chassis from flexing, the X-Terminator has a front AND rear chassis brace to prevent such a problem found on other cars.
We did our homework! The design of the aluminum radio tray specially angled the servos and the fuel tank to be as close to the center of the buggy as possible for the best weight distribution. The bulkheads are even designed in a manner that allows easy removal of the differentials. The center differential can actually be removed with only four screws. Additionally, we didn’t put two body posts on the X-Terminator like everyone else does. The X-Terminator has three body posts to help stabilize and support the body!
You want more features? The X-Terminator’s got it! Included is a sturdy, adjustable, pre-drilled double deck wing. It also has a three-shoe clutch, adjustable wheelbase, quick stopping brakes, rear sway bar, 3mm aluminum shock towers, and a transponder mount just in case you want to take it to the track. We even left the included tires not glued just in case you wanted to mount a set of your favorite tires on the wheels. With all of these features, and more, it’s pretty easy to see why the X-Terminator is your only choice for an 1/8th scale RTR.
